THE TEHUACAN PROJECT - Excerpt (2007, 3:15 min)

This is a fundraising documentary for a Mexican school for the deaf. In nine days in Tehuacan, we experienced a flood, an earthquake, and a lot of human kindness. The film’s director is a crazy guy named Andy Lauer. He played Charlie the Rollerblading Guy on “Caroline in the City,” a ’90s sitcom. Now he heads Reel Aid, using his celebrity connections to make fundraising documentaries for non-profits around the world. This was the first Reel Aid project, executive-produced by Brad Pitt and narrated by Adrien Brody.
